Fake News and Solitude: Esther Jones and Other Stories is a collection of my short stories written from 2016-2021. This website is largely devoted to excerpts, character descriptions, and discussions of related topics. I think you will enjoy my stories.

The first half of the collection is set in North America amid catastrophic climate change, a global refugee crisis, cybernetics revolutions, and primitive space colonialism. I intend to follow many characters at greater length in subsequent projects. The second half spans time and space – jokes played by gods and mortals, usually on themselves.
